Vaccination, COVID-19 testing now accessible on Taguig's tracing tool —mayor

The local government of Taguig City has improved its COVID-19 services by making vaccination and testing accessible through its tracing tool, the Taguig Registry for Assessment and City Engagements (TRACE) website.

According to Mayor Lino Cayetano on Monday, city residents can schedule their appointments of COVID-19 testing and vaccination through the said website.

"We always make it a point to find ways to improve our services. Taguig is very keen on adapting to the new technology and making use of this in our programs. In Taguig, we make sure that our services can be accessed by all Taguigeños from different walks of life," Cayetano said in a press release.

The city's TRACE website is being used by residents to access the local government’s programs and services, especially those in health and socio-economic benefits like cash gifts, scholarships and other forms of assistance.

The mayor said the city offers free testing in a total of 31 health centers, two drive-thru testing sites in Lakeshore and BGC, the Park N' Test in Vista Mall Parking Building, the Taguig Mega Swabbing Facility in CP Tinga Elementary School and in the Mobile Testing truck.

Cayetano said that as of October 30, a total of 221,347 RT-PCR tests were conducted which represents 22.42% of its local population. —Anna Felicia Bajo/KG, GMA News
