In the midst of controversies surrounding the Philippine Charity and Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) for giving sports utility vehicles (SUVs) to several Catholic bishops, Filipinos continue to flock toward lotto stations and place their bets in hopes of landing the jackpot. According to a report Wednesday on GMA News TV’s “State of the Nation," the Grand Lotto top prize is worth at least P30 million.
