Pacquiao says he had dinner with Prince Harry in London


The Filipino King of the Ring on Friday (PHL time) had dinner with royal company in London.

Filipino boxing champ and Sarangani Rep. Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao posted on Instagram photos of him at a dinner with Prince Harry.

"Dinner with Prince Harry its so nice thank you Lord," he said in a photo where he and wife Jinkee posed for a photo with the prince.

Pacquiao also posted a photo of him in formal wear before the dinner.

"(It's) nice to be in London, going to have dinner with VIP people and the Prince," he said.
He did not elaborate, however.

Earlier, Pacquiao confirmed exclusively to GMA News that he was to fly to London January 22 for a dinner with Prince Harry.

Prince Harry is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

A separate article on UK's The Mirror said Pacquiao and his wife were to receive a tour around the Palace, adding Pacquiao had admitted admiration for the monarchy.

It added Pacquiao is said to be admired by Prince Harry as well.

The Mirror said Pacquiao and the Prince could discuss charitable interests during their meeting.

Pacquiao later posted on Instagram a photo of him giving Prince Harry a pair of autographed boxing gloves, with a Philippine flag pattern. He thanked the Prince for being so nice to him.
