WHETHER TO RUN FOR VP

Leni Robredo seeks guidance from religious leaders

Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo has sought the guidance of religious leaders to help her discern whether to accept the Liberal Party's invitation for her to run as its vice presidential candidate in 2016, GMA's "24 Oras" reported on Thursday.

Robredo has returned to Naga City to consult with persons whom she and her late husband and former Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo consulted in the past regarding political decisions.

She spoke with Nueva Caceres Archbishop Rolando Tirona, priests of the Missionaries of the Poor, sisters of the Carmelite Monastery, and Muslim leaders in Naga.

She also stopped by her husband's grave.

Robredo may announce her final decision when she faces the LP on Monday. —Rie Takumi/NB, GMA News
