Work, classes in Manila college suspended due to bomb threat


Work and classes in a school in Manila City were suspended after receiving a death threat on Monday morning.

A radio dzBB report said members of the Manila Police District's bomb squad have started searching for the alleged bomb at the College of the Holy Spirit in Mendiola.

The bomb threat was also received by Centro Escolar University also on Mendiola Street and Eulogio "Amang" Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) in Sampaloc.

No bomb was found, radio dzBB reported past 1 p.m.

 

 

Police in Metro Manila was placed on full alert after the Davao City bombing Friday night that killed 14 people and wounded at least 60 others.
