Hundreds of people rounded the oval at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City as a show of protest against the burial of late strongman Ferdinand Marcos Sr. at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on Saturday.
Decked in black and white jerseys and three ribbons, the participants ran around the university on Saturday afternoon.
The 12 waves of runners were chased by men carrying batons.
As they made their way around the oval, they also encountered "thieves" attempting to rip off their ribbons, which represented life, liberty, and property.

Prior to the run, a program was held at the parking lot in front of Palma Hall.
Hundreds of protesters wearing black and carrying anti-Marcos signs were in attendance.
Senators Risa Hontiveros and Kiko Pangilinan were present at the event, and spoke to the crowd about the injustice being committed even today.
Singer Noel Cabangon also joined the protest, leading the crowd as they sang "Bayan Ko," one of the hymns during the 1986 People Power Revolution.
