Businessman Joey Concepcion tapped as People Power commission vice chair
President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed businessman Joey Concepcion III as the vice chairperson of the EDSA People Power Commission (EPPC).
Concepcion’s appointment was confirmed on Monday, five days before the 31st anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution on Saturday, February 25.

Concepcion also serves as the Presidential Consultant for Entrepreneurship. He was instrumental in gathering taipans for a dinner with Duterte in Malacañang.
He is the president and CEO of food and beverage company, RFM Corporation. He is also the man behind the Go Negosyo movement, which is the advocacy of the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE).

Meanwhile, Malacañang previously announced that the EDSA People Power Revolution anniversary rites this year would be smaller and simpler “to move on from celebrating the past” and to emphasize nation-building. — Trisha Macas/BM, GMA News
