The show will be simulcast on RMN stations in Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, and Naga City. It will also be broadcast on the RMN Facebook page.

Dip in ratings

Robredo’s radio hosting debut comes amid dips in her satisfaction and trust ratings in a recent survey.

Earlier this week, the Social Weather Stations (SWS) released results of its survey, showing a 15-point drop in the Vice President’s net trust rating, which is at a “good” +30 for the first quarter of 2017.

Nearly a month before this, Robredo got a “moderate” +26 satisfaction rating within the same quarter, an 11-point drop from December 2016.

Robredo recently was criticized for a recorded speech she made for the side session of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs annual meeting, where she raised concerns over irregularities in the present administration’s war on drugs.

The said video message has earned impeachment threats against her, including one from Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez, President Rodrigo Duterte’s top ally at the House of Representatives where impeachment bids are initiated.

As of this posting, two impeachment complaints have been submitted by private individuals, both of which are seeking endorsement from lawmakers, notably the Speaker.

She is also facing an ongoing electoral protest, filed by former Sen. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, who narrowly lost to her in the May 2016 polls. —LBG, GMA News
