Apollo Quiboloy nabbed in Honolulu after $350-k, gun parts found in private plane

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and six others were detained in Honolulu after US customs agents found $350,000 and rifle parts inside the private plane he boarded.

According to a report on "24 Oras", US citizen Felina Salinas was arrested after she claimed that the huge amount of cash was her money.

Under US laws, travelers should declare the amount of dollars they were bringing out of the country if this exceeded $10,000.

Salinas declared that she was bringing with her $40,000, way below the amount that was found on the private aircraft.

Salinas was charged for attempted bulk cash smuggling. She has since posted bail.

Quiboloy was released. According to Super Radyo dzBB, he arrived in the country at 6:37 p.m. on Thursday night. —NB, GMA News
