Duterte supporters protest VP Robredo's presence at London school

A pack of Filipinos gathered outside the London School of Economics campus in the UK on Friday to protest the presence of Vice President Leni Robredo at the school.

Seen in a series of livestreamed videos on Facebook group, Uk-Dds Activities, protesters stood in front of the LSE building until dark holding up placards with phrases "Fake V.P. Leni Robredo" and "Leni lugaw."

Their post said groups UK-DDS, BBM London Chapter and DDSUK came together to express their "disgust" against the vice president and called her out for allegedly tampering with ballots.

The vice president was at the school for a talk on politics and alleviating poverty.

Netizens who supported President Rodrigo Duterte and former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. also rallied their sentiments against Robredo on the social media posts.

According to LSE Southeast Asia, the vice president was at the UK college to give a "talk on overcoming poverty and the role of politics in economic growth."
