Should Paolo bare his tattoo? Sister Sara says, 'Kung ako yan, of course not'

SURIGAO CITY — Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte on Tuesday said if she were her brother, former Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, she will not show her tattoo that will supposedly link her to the illegal drug trade unless ordered by a judge.

"Sa akin, kung ako 'yan, of course not. Hindi ko ipapakita because I have the right to privacy," the daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte told reporters at the sidelines of the campaign trail of administration slate Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) here.

"Unless there is a case about my tattoo, sinasabi ng judge ipakita mo ang tattoo mo, then that's the time magpapakita ako ng tattoo," added Sara, a lawyer and HNP campaign manager.

In a series of videos, a certain Bikoy, a self-described former member of a drug group, alleges that Paolo has a tattoo on his back bearing the code — Polo Delta and Alpha Tierra — that he uses in receiving monthly drug money amounting from P20 million to P30 million.

Senatorial candidates from the opposition have challenged Paolo to bare his back to debunk Bikoy's allegation.

Sara shrugged off Bikoy's videos, dismissing them as lies.  "I don't have reason to worry kasi hindi naman totoo," she said. —KBK, GMA News
