Gabriela slams Duterte for watching Netflix amid unresolved problems

The Gabriela Alliance on Sunday slammed President Rodrigo Duterte for supposedly spending too much time off-work amid unresolved problems that Filipinos face daily.

This was after a photo of the President watching a film on Netflix while at home in Davao City surfaced over the weekend.

Gabriela Secretary General Joms Salvador said in a statement.

Duterte has not been seen the entire work week since attending the opening of the Palarong Pambansa on Sunday.

Presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo said Duterte was busy with paperwork in Davao City.

But Duterte's photo in Davao City does not sit well with Gabriela.

The Gabriela Women's Party, which is connected with the Gabriela Alliance, has also criticized Duterte for his supposedly misogynistic statements in the past. —LBG, GMA News
