Final testing and sealing of VCMs down to last two days

The bulk of the final testing (FTM) and sealing of vote counting machines (VCM) are on its last two days on Thursday and Friday.

FTS is when VCMs undergo diagnostics to ensure that they are functioning properly and that there are no votes stored in its memory.

With voting just a few days away, the Comelec’s command center for the FST is still receiving reports that some areas have not yet received their election materials.

“So far, ang issues na nakikita natin have to do with the delivery of material. May mga lugar kung saan tumatawag sila sa command center namin, nagsasabing, ‘Uy, bakita wala pa kaming balota? Bakit wala pa yung ganito?” Jimenez said.

“In most cases, nakikita natin hindi sila na-inform that delivery is in tranches. So hindi isang bagsakan ang delivery,” he added. —NB, GMA News
