Neri Colmenares: I won’t concede to rotten elections

Senatorial candidate Neri Colmenares on Tuesday night said that he would not concede to elections that he said "manipulated" Filipinos into voting for the "worst kinds of leaders."

Colmenares, who's at No. 24 with 4,581,688 votes, indicated that his fight continues despite being shut out of the Senate winning circle for the second time.

"I will never concede defeat to a rotten electoral exercise that has basically deceived, bribed, intimidated and manipulated our people into electing the worst kinds of leaders imaginable," Colmenares said.

"Tuloy ang laban!" he added.

Colmenares is a former three-term representative of Bayan Muna party-list and is a critic of the Duterte administration, whose endorsed candidates are currently wining in the partial and unofficial tally in the Comelec's transparency server.

He first ran for the Senate in 2016. —NB, GMA News
