Votes for Villar reach 25 million; Poe still in 2nd place in partial unofficial count


Senator Cynthia Villar has garnered more than 25 million votes as of Sunday, May 19, according to the partial and unofficial results from the Comelec Transparency Server.

Based on 98.26% of nationwide election returns, as of 11:09 a.m., Villar had 25,116,310 votes.

Senator Grace Poe was still in second place at 21,911,481 votes.

The other candidates in the Top 12 are:

  • former Special Assistant to the President Christopher "Bong" Go: 20,453,347
  • Taguig City Representative Pia Cayetano: 19,632,440
  • former Bureau of Corrections chief Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa: 18,802,305
  • Senator Sonny Angara: 18,041,634
  • former Senator Lito Lapid: 16,880,206
  • Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos: 15,729,192
  • former Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs Francis Tolentino: 15,368,023
  • Senator Koko Pimentel: 14,548,465
  • former Senator Bong Revilla: 14,546,314
