UST grad tops Physician Licensure exams


A graduate of the University of Sto. Tomas (UST) topped the September 2019 Physician Licensure Exams, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.

Federico Adriano Peralta IV bested a total of 4,006 successful examinees, as he garnered 90.92 percent.

In second place is Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) graduate, Ray Zanoria Perez II, the third placer is Rowel Calvin Castro Razon from Angeles University Foundation.

Fourth place is shared by Judea Galang Gonzales of Angeles University Foundation, Vien Christian Lim Lansangan of Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, and Joseph Alexander dela Cruz Paguio of the University of the Philippines-Manila.

UST graduate, Eugene Richard Tan Yap, made it to the fifth place while Febby Tabunda Diabordo of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, Johanna Lynne Manalo La Rosa of St. Luke's Medical Center College of Medicine-William H. Quasha Memorial, Jerahmeel Aleson Lopez Mapili of Ateneo de Manila University School of Medicine and Public Health-Pasig share sixth place.

Hanna Clementine Que Tan from UP-Manila made it to seventh place while her schoolmates Alyssa Samantha Catapia Fusinga and Samuel Christian Cu Ong share the eighth slot.

Three medicine graduates share ninth place: Karl Francis Yap Chan of Ateneo de Manila University School of Medicine and Public Health-Pasig, Patricia Monique Liwanag Torres of UST, and Daniel Gonzales Villangca Jr. of St. Luke's Medical Center College of Medicine-William H. Quasha Memorial.

In tenth place are: Sean Yukliev San Pedro Austria of the Manila Central University-Caloocan City and Carlo Jay Rubio Dejelo of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute. — BAP, GMA News
