Seized from him were an unlicensed caliber .45 pistol and a sling bag with a fragmentation grenade.

Authorities said Mullo's cohorts were already arrested during previous operations. They had been monitoring the activities of Mulyo's group since then.

Authorities said the suspect had arrived in Metro Manila last January.

The suspect, however, denied that he is planning to bring hostilities in Metro Manila.

Cases for violating Republic Act No. 10591 (The Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition) and Republic Act No. 9516 (Unlawful and Illegal Possession of Explosive) were filed before the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office against the suspect. — Anna Felicia Bajo/RSJ, GMA News
