President Rodrigo Duterte felt the earthquake that shook parts of Mindanao on Thursday morning, Malacañang said.
Duterte’s spokesperson Salvador Panelo said the President is currently in Davao City to visit the tomb of his parents ahead of the traditional All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day holiday this weekend.
Panelo said the President is safe following the magnitude 6.5 earthquake with the epicenter traced in Tulunan town in Cotabato, which was also the epicenter of Tuesday's magnitude 6.6 temblor that left eight people dead.
Duterte will fly to Thailand on Friday to attend the 35th Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit and Related Summits from November 2 to 4. —KBK, GMA News
