Duterte: Huwag kayong magboto kay Leni, kawawa kayo

President Rodrigo Duterte did not mince words in warning the people against voting for Vice President Leni Robredo if she intends to succeed him in the next elections.

Duterte issued his fresh tirades as he reiterated his offer to Robredo to take over the helm in the fight against illegal drugs and crimes in response to the Vice President's criticisms of the killing of drug suspects.

"If you criticize, you must have the answer. If you question, you must have the answer. Huwag kang magdala ng problema sa akin," Duterte said in a news conference Thursday night.

Kawawa kayo," he added.

According to the chief executive, Robredo was constantly criticizing the police and the military in everything they do.

Wala silang ano. Wala silang connect talaga. Lahat ng gagawain ng military pati police ma --- either masama, hindi tama," he said.

"So ‘yan ang problema ko kay Leni. Kung ‘yan ang maging presidente, hindi alam ‘yung batas, na ang pulis pala ay pwede magtanggap according to the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Law," he added.

Robredo earlier said the drug war has failed in certain aspects, considering that the President has dared her to do the job herself.

Robredo reiterated that drug users should be put under rehabilitation rather than be treated as criminals who should be killed. —LDF, GMA News
