Did FIFA almost forget to give a jersey to President Duterte?

President Rodrigo Duterte was the last ASEAN leader to receive a jersey when the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) distributed them to the leaders of Association of Southeast Asian Nations on Saturday.

It can be seen in the 12:15 mark of video that the Presidential Communications Facebook page shared.

As a conclusion to the day's meetings, a FIFA representative went from right to left distributing jerseys to the 10 leaders, who stood in the middle of the stage.

President Duterte stood third from the left, between Myanmar's Aung Suu Kyi, and Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

After presenting Loong's, the FIFA representative skipped Duterte and presented Suu Kyi's and then Malaysia's Mahatir Mohammed, who stood at the left-most.

The nine ASEAN leaders were already holding their blue jerseys, while Duterte stood around, waiting for his.

After 15 seconds, FIFA was able to produce and present Duterte's his jersey, which he then held up as the other leaders for a photo opportunity.

Southeast Asian countries signed a deal with FIFA on Saturday during the ASEAN Summit Plenary in Bangkok, Thailand to jointly host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
