Bus driver risks windshield-high flood in Cagayan

A bus driver was recorded on video driving through a windshield-high flood in Abulug, Cagayan, according to a report on 24 Oras Weekend on Saturday.

The video was taken by the passenger as the driver pushed through the flooded highway.

According to the report, the bus and its passengers safely reached the other side.

Meanwhile, other areas in the province were also flooded after the Cagayan River overflowed due to Typhoon Quiel.

No less than 16 houses were swept away by the river's current as waters breached the riverbanks. Water coming from the mountains also exacerbated the situation.
