Hard work, prayers sustain Cebuano civil engineering 2019 topnotch

Civil Engineer Licensure Examination 2019 topnotch Lou Mervin Tristan Pua Mahilum of the University of San Carlos said Friday that diligence, hard work, focus, prayers, and support from friends and his family helped him through the otherwise tough exams.

In an interview by RGMA Cebu's Alan Domingo, Mahilum said that he worked hard during his review days, adding that the exam was tough, especially the Math portion, but he made it.

"Serious ko sa review... Sa exam, kun naa koy dili maanseran, markahan usa, unya later na lang balikan," he said in Cebuano, referring to a technique in taking exams where you skip the hard questions first and then get back at them when easy ones have been covered.
