P7.4B released for year-end bonus of 205k PNP personnel —Banac

More than P7.4 billion was released for the year-end bonuses of the Philippine National Police's uniformed and non-uniformed personnel.

According to PNP spokesman Police Brigadier General Bernard Banac on Friday, a total of P7,481,118,702.86 was allotted for the 205,189 PNP personnel.

Banac said PNP officer-in-charge Police Lieutenant General Archie Francisco Gamboa already approved the release of the bonus.

Banac said the year-end bonus is equivalent to the amount of the monthly basic salary of each personnel along with the mandated P5,000 cash from the national government.

Banac, however, said the year-end bonuses for PNP personnel who have pending administrative and criminal cases have been put on hold.

The year-end bonus has been credited to the ATM payroll accounts of each non-uniformed and uniformed police personnel through the Land Bank of the Philippines. — MDM, GMA News
