Duterte to continue riding motorcycles despite painful fall, illnesses

President Rodrigo Duterte said he would still ride motorcycles even after an accident in October caused him enough pain to cut short his official trip to Japan.

According to Marisol Abdurahman's report on "24 Oras", Duterte said he was now feeling only a little pain after his motorcycle fall.

"Konti nalang dito sa bukol buto kasi yan," Duterte said in an exclusive interview.

Will take a break from riding motorcycles?

"Ah magmotor ako. May usapan kami ni Inday," Duterte said, referring to his eldest daughter Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

Duterte, however, said that he was considering working anew from his Davao City home the way he did last week.

He indicated that he could rest better when working from his hometown.

"Ang Presidente matanda na. Wag kayong magtanong kung ang Presidente may sakit ba," Duterte said.

"Lahat ng sakit andito na sa akin kasi matanda na nga ako eh," he added. —NB, GMA News
