Robredo dares Mocha to visit Taal evacuees amid publicity stunt criticisms

Vice President Leni Robredo challenged Overseas Workers Welfare Administration deputy executive director Mocha Uson to go to evacuation centers to hear it straight from the people that her office was not there merely for publicity stunt.

Robredo made the remark following Uson's Facebook post criticizing the horde of press that came with the Vice President when she went to see the families displaced by the Taal eruption and distributed goods.

Earlier, Uson said Robredo's team distributed only five pieces of pandesal and one bottled water per evacuee.

Uson, however, clarified that her criticism was not about the pandesal but about Robredo's efforts to create a media blitz out of her aid-giving activities.

Robredo earlier called out Uson for spreading fake news about her.

“I called her attention kasi nagsisinungaling siya.

—LDF, GMA News
