Duterte appoints officials at BTA, senior citizens commission

President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed several officials in government early this month, according to a list released to the media by Malacañang on Monday.

Duterte named Ali Sangki member of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority, the interim governing body of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

The President also appointed Ida Patron and Labor Undersecretary Jacinto Paras as commissioner of the National Commission of Senior Citizens and Presidential Legislative Assistant, respectively.

Duterte also appointed new prosecutors, foreign service officers and directors at agencies such as the Department of Labor and Employment, Interior and Local Government and Office of the President.  — Virgil Lopez/RSJ, GMA News
