PAGASA: Amihan to bring rain over Luzon, Visayas


The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan is expected to bring cloudy skies and rains parts of Luzon and the Visayas within the next 24 hours, PAGASA said Thursday afternoon.

In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau said Amihan is affecting Luzon and Visayas.

Cloudy skies with light rains were forecast over Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Panay Island.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will affect Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and of Visayas.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers will prevail over Mindanao.

PAGASA said no significant impact is expected from the said weather conditions.

The bureau added that no cyclone was forecast to develop within the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the next three to five days. —Julia Mari Ornedo/NB, GMA News
