Duterte asks Reds for ceasefire amid COVID-19 enhanced quarantine

President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday asked the communist New People's Army to stop its attacks on soldiers and police officers amid the enhanced community quarantine that the Philippine government declared all over Luzon.

"Ceasefire muna tayo," Duterte told the rebels in a nationally televised address.
