Pacquiao, Jack Ma foundations to provide 50,000 testing kits to combat COVID-19 in Philippines

The charity foundations of Chinese billionaire Jack Ma and Filipino boxing icon and Senator Manny Pacquiao have partnered to provide the country with 50,000 test kits for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

According to a tweet by the Manny Pacquiao Foundation, this is their part in the efforts to fight COVID-19 in the Philippines.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country was at 142 as of Monday night after the Department of Health confirmed two new cases.

If was not however clear if the two new cases included Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, who announced on Monday that he was tested positive for the virus. --KBK, GMA News
