Specimens were collected from some members of President Rodrigo Duterte's family for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) laboratory tests, according to Senator Bong Go on Tuesday.
Go said swab samples were taken from Duterte's common-law wife Honeylet Avanceña and youngest daughter Kitty, according to a report by Tuesday Niu on Super Radyo dzBB.

Presidential sons Sebastian "Baste" and Paolo also underwent collection of samples for the COVID-19 test.
Go, however, said that the specimen have yet to be sent to Manila for analysis.
Earlier in the day, it has been reported that Davao City Vice Mayor Baste Duterte was already considered a person under monitoring after showing some symptoms.
