Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Archie Francisco Gamboa tested negative for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), PNP spokesman Brigadier General Bernard Banac said Wednesday.
"Negative result ng test niya. He is on duty, up and running the entire affairs of the PNP amid the enhanced community quarantine," Banac said in a text message.
"He remains healthy but adapting strict biosafety measures," Banac added, noting that Gamboa is observing strict social distancing.
According to Banac, Gamboa had no recent meetings with Interior Secretary Eduardo Año who tested positive for COVID-19.
On Tuesday night, Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said he tested negative for COVID-19.—AOL, GMA News
