Philippines reports 119 new COVID-19 cases, brings total to 4,195; death toll now 221

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in the country climbed to 4,195 on Friday after the Department of Health (DOH) reported 119 new cases.

In its daily briefing, the DOH also announced that 18 more patients succumbed to the virus, bringing the death toll to 221.

Total recoveries, meanwhile, were recorded at 140 with an additional 16 cases on Friday. — RSJ, GMA News
