16-day-old child is Philippines' youngest COVID-19 survivor

A 16-day old baby has become the country's youngest COVID-19 survivor, the Department of Health (DOH) announced on Thursday.

In a Facebook post, the DOH thanked frontliners at the National Children's Hospital for taking care of the infant for 11 days.

"The DOH applauds our valiant healthcare team for this feat! We at the DOH commits to provide the needed health commodities and personal protective equipment as our health facilities accept patients of various ages," it said. --KBK, GMA News
