Ramon Revilla Sr. still in critical condition, says son Sen. Bong

Former senator Ramon Revilla Sr. is still not out of the woods after being brought to the hospital, according to Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. on Monday morning.

"Thank you for your continuous prayers. Daddy is still in critical condition and will be under strict observation for the next 48 hours," the younger Revilla posted on his official Facebook page.

He asked the public for more prayers for his 93-year-old father who had difficulty in breathing and was somewhat unresponsive on Sunday.
 
The former lawmaker was given first aid and emergency services at the St. Dominic Medical Center before he was transferred to St. Luke's Medical Center - Global City.

"Kasalukuyan po siyang nakakabit sa ventilator, but thank God, he is now conscious and responsive," Bong said in an update on Sunday night.—AOL, GMA News
