Parents struggle on first day of online enrollment

Some parents struggled with their gadgets or internet connection on Monday, the first day of the online enrollment period for public school students that will run until June 12.

According to Mariz Umali’s report on “24 Oras,” Elena Lopez managed to enroll her two children and two grandkids despite issues with her laptop.

She rented a device so she could enroll online, but still needed some help from her daughter.

Parents can pick up and drop off hard copies of enrollment forms from June 15 to 30.

The Division Office of the Department of Education said 4,429 out of some 139,000 learners in Pasig had enrolled online as of 12 noon on Monday. —Julia Mari Ornedo/LDF, GMA News
