By VIRGIL LOPEZ,GMA News

President Rodrigo Duterte will announce on June 15 the latest directives regarding the implementation of community quarantine in the country aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19, Malacañang said Thursday.

Duterte’s upcoming policy pronouncement comes after the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases met on Wednesday to craft recommendations to the President on the fate of the movement restrictions.

Roque also said the IATF’s recommendations are not yet final.

The President was supposed to meet with the IATF in Davao City on Thursday but this was postponed to June 15.
