Ex-senator Ramon Revilla Sr. moved out of ICU

Former senator Ramon Revilla Sr. has been moved out of the intensive care unit and transferred to a regular room, his son Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. said Sunday.

In a Facebook post, the younger Revilla said his father’s condition continues to improve.

“Si Daddy po ay wala na sa ICU at inilipat na sa regular room. Tuloy-tuloy po ang kanyang pagbuti!” he said. 

“At siyempre, salamat po muli sa inyong mga prayers. Patuloy po nating ipagdasal ang kanyang tuluyang paggaling,” he added.

The Revilla patriarch was brought to the hospital on May 31. 

On June 11, Bong reported that his father had been taken off the ventilator after he managed to breathe on his own. 

Revilla Sr. was also spared from a heart procedure after his angiogram yielded good results.  — Julia Mari Ornedo/BM, GMA News
