COVID-19 cases within PNP exceed 700 with 77 new infections

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases within the Philippine National Police (PNP) breached 700 on Tuesday with 77 new infections, bringing the total to 709.

According to the PNP, total recoveries rose to 346 after 12 more patients recovered from the illness while the death toll remained at nine.

Meanwhile, there are 1,087 suspect cases and 697 probable cases as of June 30.

The PNP also urged those experiencing COVID-19 symptoms to reach out to the PNP Health Service.

Meanwhile, the Philippines has reported a total of 37,514 COVID-19 cases with 10,233 recoveries and 1,266 fatalities. — Joahna Lei Casilao/BM, GMA News
