The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Thursday released photos of the prototype design submitted by Bohol Governor Arthur Yap that was adopted by the National Task Force for COVID-19, allowing back-riding on motorcycles among couples.
Interior Secretary Eduardo Año said the public should be cognizant of the proper protocols set by the inter-agency task force such as the installation of protective barriers in the motorcycle.
Riders and passengers must also wear face masks, the DILG chief said.
Only couples or partners who live in the same household will be allowed on back-riding on motorcycles, Año said.
This will be implemented nationwide beginning Friday, July 10. — Anna Felicia Bajo/RSJ, GMA News
