House security staffer tests positive for COVID-19

A member of the House of Representatives' security staff has tested positive for COVID-19, House Secretary General Atty. Jose Luis Montales said on Saturday.

“We were advised that a member of our security staff assigned at the office and barracks of our Legislative Security Bureau has tested positive for COVID-19," he said in a message sent to reporters.

Montales said the security staffer last reported for work on Monday, July 6.

"He is presently on home quarantine," he said.

Montales said contact tracing is currently being conducted.

"Let's remain calm; keep safe," he added. —KG, GMA News
