PNP reports 136 new COVID-19 infections

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Saturday reported 136 new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infections among its police officers, bringing the total to 1,932.

According to the PNP, total recoveries within the agency rose to 706 after 17 more personnel recovered from the illness while total fatalities remained at 10.

Meanwhile, there are 2,449 suspect cases and 725 probable cases within the agency as of Saturday.

PNP personnel with COVID-19 symptoms are advised to reach out to the PNP Health Service.

The Philippines reported a total of 78,412 confirmed cases with 25,752 recoveries and 1,897 fatalities. — DVM, GMA News
