BOC-NAIA adds more workers amid the surge in number of returning OFWs

The Bureau of Customs-Ninoy International Airport added more workers amid the surge in the number of returning overseas Filipino workers and other repatriates in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a report on 24 Oras News Alert on Tuesday, due to the additional employees, the BOC said it is expecting transactions will  be faster, especially in Customs clearance.

The OFWs and other repatriates are required to undergo a 14-day quarantine before they are allowed to go back to their home provinces. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/KG, GMA News
