COVID-19 infections within the PNP now at 2,048

The number of COVID-19 cases within the Philippine National Police (PNP) increased to 2,048 on Tuesday with 11 new infections.

According to the PNP, recoveries also rose to 730 after five more personnel recovered from the respiratory illness.

The death toll, meanwhile, remained at 10.

So far, there are 2,464 suspected and 809 probable COVID-19 cases within the police organization.

The PNP urged its employees experiencing symptoms related to the illness to reach out to the PNP Health Service.

Nationwide, cases of COVID-19 have ballooned to 83,673 including 26,617 recoveries and 1,947 deaths. -MDM, GMA News
