COVID-19 infections within the PNP now at 2,407

The number of COVID-19 cases within the Philippine National Police increased to 2,407 on Thursday with 60 new infections.

According to the PNP, recoveries also rose to 1,428 after 44 more personnel defeated the viral disease.

The death toll, meanwhile, remained at 11.

So far, there are 2,379 suspected and 893 probable COVID-19 cases in the police organization.

The PNP reminded its employees experiencing symptoms related to the illness to reach out to the PNP Health Service.

Nationwide, cases of COVID-19 ballooned to 119,460 on Thursday with 66,837 recoveries and 2,150 fatalities. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/BM, GMA News
