Kuya Wil giving P5M to PUJ drivers, P100k each to kin of OFWs killed in Beirut

TV host Willie Revillame announced on Friday he is donating  P5-million assistance for jeepney drivers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as P100,000 each to the families of four OFWs killed in Beirut, Lebanon blast.

Revillame said he continued to work during the pandemic with his GMA-7 program "Wowowin-Tutok To Win."

Also, Revillame said he will provide P100,000 each for the families of those affected in the Beirut explosion.

"'Yung apat na pamilya po na naulila, I'm willing to give P100,000 each," he said.

The aid for the families will meanwhile be referred to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Roque said.

Revillame hosted the briefing at the Wil Tower while the New Executive Building was placed in isolation due to COVID-19 cases among some Palace personnel.

Roque said he will turn over Revillame's donation to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of Transportation (DOTr).  —LBG, GMA News
