25 more PNP personnel test positive for COVID-19

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Saturday reported 25 new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infections, bringing the total tally within the agency to 2,459.

Meanwhile, the PNP also announced that total recoveries rose to 1,494 after 15 more personnel recovered from the illness while the number of fatalities remained at 12.

There were 2,584 suspect and 875 probable cases within the national police force.

PNP personnel with COVID-19 symptoms were advised to reach out to the PNP Health Service.

The Philippines reported a total of 126,885 COVID-19 cases with 67,117 recoveries and 2,209 fatalities. — DVM, GMA News
