Willie Revillame starts giving cash, rice to jeepney drivers at LTFRB

TV host Willie Revillame has started distributing financial assistance and sacks of rice to jeepney drivers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic at the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) office in Quezon City.

Revillame personally went to the LTFRB office and helped in the distribution as the sacks of rice were boarded into the public utility vehicles parked on East Avenue, according to a report by Allan Gatus on Dobol B sa News TV on Wednesday.

Leaders of different transport groups also received cash assistance ranging from P200,000 up to P1.5 million.

Some transport group leaders said they will be dividing the assistance among their members.

Jeepney drivers from Navotas City, Manila and other areas, who were not members of any transport association, also fell in line for aid at the LTFRB office.
