PNP sees 16th COVID-19 death

The death toll from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) within the Philippine National Police (PNP) rose to 16 on Sunday after one more police officer succumbed to the respiratory illness.

In its daily COVID-19 update, the PNP also said that its total number of confirmed cases climbed to 3,380 after 104 more personnel tested positive.

Meanwhile, 2,479 have recovered.

There are also 2,688 suspected COVID-19 cases within the PNP while 711 others were considered probable infections.

Personnel exhibiting symptoms were advised to contact the PNP Health Service.  — DVM, GMA News
