Next bar exams scheduled in November 2021, says Supreme Court

The next Bar examinations will be held in November 2021, the Supreme Court (SC) said on Tuesday

Bar chair Associate Justice Marvic Leonen said the examination periods and venues of the next licensure test for lawyers will be announced in a separate bulletin.

Court spokesman Brian Keith Hosaka explained that "anyone who is qualified to take the Bar exams in November 2021 will be allowed to take it regardless of what year they graduated."

The SC postponed this year's Bar exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The next Bar exams will be held in Manila and in Cebu City.

Before the pandemic, the exams were held during the four Sundays of November at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila.

A total of 2,103 candidates out of the 7,685 takers of the 2019 Bar exams passed. -NB, GMA News
