52 more PNP personnel test positive for COVID-19

The number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases within the Philippine National Police (PNP) rose to 4,837 on Wednesday after 52 more personnel tested positive for the illness.

According to the agency, total recoveries also rose to 3,359 with 22 new ones while the death toll in the agency remained at 16.

At present, the PNP has reported 3,129 suspect and 735 probable cases.

Personnel who are experiencing symptoms similar to COVID-19 are advised to reach out to the PNP Health Service.

Meanwhile, the Philippines has reported a total of 245,143 COVID-19 cases with 185,543 recoveries and 3,986 fatalities. -MDM, GMA News
